A paid advertisement will look like this on Google. It will be highlighted in GREEN TEXT and will appear at the top of the search results. Organic text is highlighted in BLUE TEXT because it is relevant to you are looking for but will not meet top of the page rankings because you are not paying for your site to be advertised at the top.
Companies and other people will create a Google Ads Search Campaign, which in broader terms means Google will charge you every time someone clicks on your paid advertisement/link. Thankfully, paid search is a little different because it grasps relevant information to get people to click on your site.
